A seminar on “Value Enhancement through Designs – Case Studies on Beijing Wangjing CBD Projects”, was organized by Urban Land Institute (ULI) in Beijing. Aedas Beijing Executive Director Ning Huo was invited as a guest speaker to share her insights on urban high-rise projects.
Ning has accumulated nearly 20 years of extensive experience in architecture design in the UK, Singapore and Mainland China. “An iconic architecture must be closely associated with local context, whilst it has to be an unique profile to standout.”, according to Ning. Her views are elaborated further through Aedas designs, including Beijing Da Wang Jing Mixed-use Development by Andrew Bromberg at Aedas, Zhuhai Hengqin International Financial Center, and Chongqing Xinhua Bookstore Group Jiefangbei Book City Mixed-use Project.
Beijing Wangjing CBD is a key development district within Beijing’s the 12th Five Year Plan. Aedas has designed a number of high-rise buildings in the district, including Kuntai Jiarui Center and Kuntai Wangjing Plot 2 Exhibition Center.
