Among a long list of contestants for the 40 Under 40 Awards 2025, we’re proud to announce that Aedas Directors Richo Du, Zhihong Lin, Fay Zhou, and Senior Associate Lingdong Zeng have been named winners.
Fay Zhou has over 15 years of experience spanning Asia, Europe, and North America, taking every project as a unique opportunity for architectural storytelling to reflect the traditions and evolving values rooted in our culture. She reflects her design expertise and client management skills in executing recent projects including Ulaanbaatar Eco Tower One, Shenzhen CIEI Valley HQ, Shenzhen Bagualing Industrial Park Urban Renewal, Guangzhou Nansha Futures Industrial Park, and Zhuhai Hengqin Science City Phase III.
With over 13 years of architectural design experience, Zhihong has contributed to numerous projects worldwide, specialising in mixed-use developments, hotels, office buildings, and cultural centres. His work not only responds to and reshapes functional spaces, but also reflects a deep awareness of social contexts and future possibilities. His works include Zhanjiang No.1 Yun Hai Project, Wuhan Central Cloud City Phase II and MCC Hengqin Headquarters North Plot.
Richo Du has over 13 years of experience in architectural design across super high-rise, hospitality, office, industrial park and education projects, combining strong concept design with practical, cost-effective delivery. His work has received multiple international awards. Recent projects include Beijing SINOVAC High-Tech Achievements Transformation Project, Xiamen Headquarters Area of BRICS Partnership, BNU-HKBU United International College (UIC) No.2 Campus, Foshan Shunde Honghao Plaza, Changshu Jinmao Science City.
Having accumulated 13 years of experience, Lingdong Zeng is committed to translating creative ideas and spatial aesthetics into practical solutions, even when working within complex constraints. Specialising in TOD designs, he leads his team in implementing AI-assisted design methods in their projects. His leadership brings together multi-disciplinary expertise and ensures efficient coordination, enhancing the overall delivery of all projects including Dongguan Humen High-speed Rail Station, Shenzhen C FutureCity Phase I and II, and Foshan Greenland Center Phrase 2 Masterplan Concept Design Project.
Launched in 2006, the 40 Under 40 Awards recognise forty of the most talented young professionals in the fields of architecture, interior and product design, aged under 40. They are an important stepping-stone for up-and-coming talent, having helped grow the careers of some of the biggest names in the A&D community in Greater China and Beyond.
