Aedas joins in Hang Lung’s efforts to cultivate future architects

The opening ceremony of Hang Lung Young Architects Program 2019-20 was held at the Asia Society Hong Kong, where Weber Lo, the Chief Executive Officer of Hang Lung Properties, inaugurated the Program together with of Program Advisors, school representatives, and more than 300 students, making the start of the series of brilliant activities that will follow.

The Hang Lung Architects Program (HLYAP) aims to inspire students with the beauty and stories of architecture, encourage them to explore the relationship between architecture and our communities via a series of engaging activities including interactive seminars, workshops and guided tours. As they embark on the year-long journey of learning, the young architects explores Hong Kong’s unique architectural, cultural, and historical heritage, and further applies the knowledge and skills in creative projects.

Aedas Global Design Principal Christine Lam attended opening ceremony and will continue to contribute as a Program Advisor, sharing her design experience and architectural expertise to the student participants. As an industry leader, Aedas is committed in inspiring and cultivating young architects. Apart from the Hang Lung Architects Program, Aedas also maintains long-term partnership with universities in China, Asia and UK, in support of architectural students’ academic training and professional development.
