Aedas values and promotes conversations around architecture, encouraging inter-generational exchange of ideas, and sharing of experiences. A group of architecture students from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Shenzhen University have recently visited the Aedas Shenzhen office and met with our Executive Director Kelvin Hu, Director Fiona Chen, Executive Director of Business Development (China) Feng He, and Associate Director Fay Zhou for a unique sharing session.
Kelvin Hu says, ‘The relationship between Aedas and Shenzhen University can be traced back to 2018, and we have established a deep-rooted school-enterprise cooperation and exchange mechanism. The students from Shenzhen University display tremendous creative potential, and this programme shall help equip them with better help and guidance for their career development.’
Towards the end of the exchange, our architects led the students to visit Shenzhen C Future City and SHUIBEI International Centre, two classic projects designed by Aedas, allowing students to experience cutting-edge design technology and concepts from a first-person perspective. As one of the student representatives says, ‘This visit has allowed me to understand that Aedas is a company with clear goals that focus on design quality, the experience has been very rewarding, and I look forward to learning more about Aedas in the future and possibly work with the professionals here.’
