Organised by Aedas, “Immortal Cities” was exhibited at UCCA Edge in Shanghai since 11 November, 2022. The exhibition is supported by Tongji University, The Architectural Society of Shanghai China, RIBA and UCCA Edge. Aedas Global Design Principal Ken Wai attended the opening ceremony, while Aedas Founder and Global Principal Designer Keith Griffiths and Dean at College of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAUP) of Tongji University Xiangning Li have given a speech virtually. One of the featured events that day was a photography exhibition that focuses on the future urban regeneration of Shanghai waterfront areas.
Keith said, “We are delighted that Aedas is organising this exhibition at UCCA Edge this year. This is not simply an academic exploration of the future of urban regeneration, but also a cross-industry event advocating education.”
“Urban regeneration is essential in China. We hope to explore more possibilities for better regeneration models through this exhibition and discussion with other parties.” – Ken Wai.
