Aedas Chairman and Global Design Principal Keith Griffiths attended the Business of Design Week (BODW) to discuss the topic of “Melting the boundary: Live/Work”. In this conversation, Keith expounds on the accelerative demands the pandemic has exerted on our social fabric and how this is transforming our live/work dynamic.
Organised by Hong Kong Design Centre, BODW serves as a valuable platform on which ideas and insights are exchanged between remarkable design masters as well as business influencers across the globe. The theme this year is – Vision 20/21: Finding Clarity in Uncertainty. A “new normal” has emerged this year in which makeshift innovative practices have been employed to combat the waves of ambiguity occasioned by the pandemic. This has prompted us to reevaluate the way we’ve been living our lives, and to find new routes to survive and thrive in this time of change.
As a local and global design practice, Aedas is well aware of and actively responding to the changes being brought by technology advancement and accelerated by the pandemic. Aedas will continue to lead the change with world-class design solutions and to share our vision and insights to create a more livable and sustainable environment for all.
