Aedas Executive Director Kelvin Hu is invited to attend the Domain of Architectural Forum (DAF) in Shenzhen under the theme ‘Green, Low-Carbon, and Sustainable.’ During the conference, Kelvin delivers a keynote presentation focusing on the Shenzhen Construction Industry Ecological and Intelligent Valley Headquarters. He provides an in-depth analysis of the project from multiple perspectives, including architectural design and façade development.
‘As the largest construction industry headquarters in China, the key challenge lies in weaving together the relationship between the city and nature, and fostering a seamless integration across industries,’ Kelvin shares.
‘Facing complex terrain, diverse functions, and varied enterprise needs, we proposed the overall planning concept of “cross-border”. Throughout the design process, we strived to preserve the natural landscape to the greatest extent, while integrating advanced technologies and modular construction to realise a smart, ecological, and near-zero-carbon green headquarters.’
