Aedas Global Design Principal Ken Wai attends a roundtable forum hosted by the Landscape Architecture and Ecological Environment Branch of the China Engineering and Consulting Association (CECA) in Shanghai. Themed ‘Diversity & Integration: Designing for the Future’, the forum brings together industry experts to discuss international pathways for the design industry and the value of integration across disciplines.
Drawing from Aedas’ global projects, Ken shares insights on achieving international recognition through innovative design while navigating cross-cultural communication and legal challenges. He emphasises that internationalisation goes beyond technical exports, highlighting the importance of engaging with local cultures.
