Soo Sing is a Director at Aedas with over 35 years of extensive experience handling large-scale developments in both private and public sectors. He graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Architecture from Heriot-Watt University, UK in 1988.
Soo Sing joined Aedas in 2006 and was involved as the Statutory Team Leader in the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort Development, where he has contributed significantly to the successful delivery of the project. He gained expertise in coordinating statutory compliance and processes for projects that involved multiple disciplines and complexities.
In his role, Soo Sing makes strategic decisions and leads the project team in implementing design choices. He creates cost-effective plans to help the client secure project funding, oversees statutory strategies and obtains planning approvals. He also leads Value Engineering exercises, supervises project execution during construction, administers construction contracts, monitors construction progress and quality, and manages processes for obtaining TOP, completing the project, and handing it over.
Soo Sing is also a registered inspector with SCDF and a registered Design for Safety Professional (DFSP). Soo Sing currently sits on SCDF’s Registered Inspector Inquiry Panel as well as BCA’s Productivity Gateway Advisory Panel.
