Rafael holds an architecture degree of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. As a well-rounded architect with a passion for design, Rafael has conceptualised, developed, and delivered projects in over 10 countries – including Singapore, China, India, and the USA.
He has led in important projects across multiple market sectors – including office buildings, retail & commercial, mixed-use, residential, hospitality, integrated resorts, and TOD.
Rafael believes that design should be a process, where logic and clarity work hand-in-hand with creativity and aesthetics. Good projects should be timeless designs providing their users with memorable experiences. To achieve this, he strives to understand the specific cultural and social characteristics of the users and the community that each project serves.
Being a team leader, he cares about people through building trust and investing in the quality of his relationships with clients, consultants, and team members.
Rafael is currently in charge of the projects in the Indian Subcontinent, and his goal is to further develop and grow the team with key projects and new opportunities.
