Hilton Garden Inn is an upscale and select-service brand within the portfolio of Hilton Worldwide. The design focuses on the core brand attributes of a restful garden experience in the busy Mongkok neighborhood to create a calm guest experience.
With the design inspiration statement ‘do not go faster – stay and enjoy a moment’, the design of the public spaces includes calm compositions, uncomplicated furniture that is comfortable and sleek. Core brand design elements were integrated into the design, including the two-storey feature wall and lounge seating. With five meters of curtainwall glass facing to the expressway, a circular leather sofa is set at the front corner of the lobby, facing the street so that guests can see and be seen. Guestrooms also adapt the brand design prototype so that the global brand has design continuity even in limited room size.
