Located in an area rich with historical context and local character, along Queen’s Road East in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, the new boutique hotel provides 150 rooms and is opened for business in 2012. Cultural and historical elements of the area as well as Feng Shui components are thoroughly considered and are reflected through the design of the hotel. The facade features a conspicuous dragon in burnished bronze wrapped around the building, functioning as an “ecoscreen” to counteract the hot spots and solar gain.
