Huawei Hanoi

Hanoi, Vietnam

“Following our first successful completion of Huawei’s GPF office in Bangkok, Thailand, we were commissioned by the Client to design their offices in other regions. Through our work for these different offices, there lies a common design language where a visitor or staff will recognize that they are in a Huawei’s office regardless of its location. However, we have infused each office with local influences to bring in elements observed from the streets and local culture of the city the office is located in.

In designing for Huawei Hanoi, there was greater room for design play where each meeting room was designed to look and feel different, thereby creating an identity for each room. Splashes of colour were used in the general office and at breakout areas to inject live and vibrancy, resulting in a lighter and cosier work environment. Local influences can be picked up through the use of fabrics and unique decorative pieces such as a display wall of helmets – a protective hat that is common in Vietnam where motorbikes are the main form of transportation. Warm colours are used at the pantry to encourage use of the space for relaxation and interaction.”
