Jebel Ali Village is a new development located adjacent to the recent Al Forjan Development and Sheikh Zayed Road.
The Jebel Ali Village (JAV) mixed-use development, comprised of residential communities, a commercial business hub, as well as space for sports and cultural events, is set to become a major new destination in Dubai. At the heart of the project is a central park and boulevard to promote rest and relaxation. Away from the vibrant zone, the residential hillside community is quiet and peaceful with pedestrian friendly landscapes and roads with a hillside sub-urban character.
The Jebel Ali Village Phase 2 is primarily residential development, and the primary objective is to maximise views of the park while achieving maximum sale-able/leasable area. The buildings are concentrated with shared amenities. Each building being G+2-5 floors with parking at the basement.
The development is on top of a hill overlooking the whole development. The building arrangement is to have contemporary village feel with aisles opening into spaces where the shared amenities are located. Although the design is approached with modern sensibilities, the traditional old village aesthetics is to some degree respectfully retained. The variation in materials and massing is also important to create the desired architectural language.
