Lucasfilm

The concept design of Lucasfilm’s office is one that is heavily influenced by some of the movies they produced. It also complements The Sandcrawler, an award winning Aedas-designed building. One can find a “Star Wars” inspired lift lobby, a “Darth Vader” inspired light fixture, and the display of various figurines featured in their movies. The office is unique such that most of the employees work in the dark, they come together for work reviews often, planned and unplanned. We used light strips as a guiding path that lead to breakout spaces, workstations that adjusted to standup position in seconds, and several screening rooms for daily production reviews with the team.
