MOKO, situated at Mongkok East, is a focal node with high pedestrian flow. To improve the existing layout and circulation, the atrium is strategically transformed into an elegant form and extended it to the northern part of the mall, making the atrium the focal point of the architecture and a connection hub.
Completed in eight phases while the mall maintained in operation, the refurbishment took inspirations from the nature. Delicate touches of trees, leaves, petals, river, cloud and stars can be seen at every corner. The use of indoor greenery and natural material like timber enhances the nature feel. The new design demonstrates a harmonious mix of nature and metropolitan.
