In response to the growing aspiration for both protection of architectural heritage and promotion of creative industry in Hong Kong, the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) takes on one of the most extra-ordinary challenge yet: to pursue best practice conservation to revitalize an ensemble of Grade II listed historical pre-war tenement houses in Wanchai, into a public venue solely dedicated to promoting local cultural and creative industries.
