Situated in the northern region of Luohu, the project is a significant industrial node included in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Science and Technology Innovation District.
The project serves as the most critical core infrastructure and service facilities in the city, it is an underground hub integrating subway, high-speed rail and public transportation. The future daily passenger flow is projected to reach 800,000, with the Shenzhen-Shanwei Railway being a high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It starts at the Xili Hub, passes through Luohu North Station, Pingshang Station, Huiyang, and Huidong to the Shenzhen Cooperation Zone, and connects to the national coastal high-speed rail, marking the shift of national railway travel from low-frequency long-distance to high-frequency commuting era.
