Working with the team at Delfont Mackintosh Theatres, Aedas refurbished and restored the auditorium and the key public areas to their former Edwardian and mid-century glory. During the refurbishment, the auditorium has undergone a holistic interior upgrade that improved audience seating and accessible seating positions, and upgraded performance infrastructure and lighting.
In parallel with this, the comprehensive redecoration scheme is involved with the addition and reinstatement of architectural elements that reinforce Sprague’s original design intent. The subtle refurbishment of the auditorium is transformative, making it an enhanced version of its former self.
