“The SCB Global Command Center is a fully digitised and secured environment which serves as the global backbone of network operations at Standard Chartered Bank. It is also a visitor center for SCB to exhibit its capabilities and efficiencies as a bank. By incorporating the highest technology, we designed a futuristic space which reflects SCB’s digital aspiration as a key strategic focus.
The design derives from a human fingerprint where it is an intricate network of lines and patterns that creates a unique identity for each person. A silhouette was created that flowed and allowed connectivity between all areas of the command center. Using a design color palette that showed a stark contrast to the highly technological space so that a visitor’s attention will always be drawn to the complexities of the systems. “
