Taipei City Beitou District Sec. Daye Sec. 4 Plot 574 Office Project

Taipei / Taiwan, PRC

Design inspired by the “Treasure Vase”: In the Beitou district of Taipei, the treasure vase could be seen as a symbol with special significance. Known for its hot springs and cultural heritage, Beitou could interpret the treasure vase as a symbol of wisdom and health. Incorporating the treasure vase element into the architectural design not only conveys these positive values but also emphasises the area’s uniqueness and cultural traditions. This symbolic design can be reflected in buildings, landscapes, or artworks, enhancing Beitou’s image as a hot spring destination and cultural center.

The overall form features elegant curves, slightly bulging in the upper half and gradually tapering inward, creating a seamless architectural image. The top of the building is curved and cut to form a striking tower crown, enhancing the building’s landmark value. The main façade is on the north and south sides, with secondary facades on the east and west sides. The south-facing facade features charming curved-cut balconies extending from the top floor to the west along the main street, enhancing the building’s display effect on the main road. Additionally, balconies are distributed on the northeast side, while the west-facing street facade maintains a complete sculptural feel.
