The Asia Logistics Hub- SF Centre is a 15-storey building with a 6-storey (9/F – 14/F) office block sitting on top of 9 storey (G/F – 8/F) warehouse with a basement below ground to accommodate parking spaces.
In order to facilitate the rapid growth of the courier operation, the first three floors being the express logistic hub to achieve sortation operation, will be occupied by a fully automated Material Handling System (MHS).
Besides the MHS system, other provisions are required to support the entire sortation operation as a whole. Parking spaces, Loading / Unloading, facilities are provided to back-up the unique operation requirements. Besides the lease allowable parking spaces, queuing and Loading / Unloading provisions, additional buffer parking spaces are required to facilitate not only the courier service but also contributing in easing the traffic situation outside the site.
