Strategically located in West Kowloon with convenient accessibility, TOWNPLACE West Kowloon is a new flexible living destination with a promenade design concept. It is designed to be an interactive community that offers hotel and serviced apartment services with recreational amenities.
To ensure the overall layout meets the objective of maximising sea view, the plan arranges the building into an H-shape. The stacked design with contrasting panels and fins creates a unique architectural form that enrich the glamour of the harbourfront building. The form creatively circumvents the problem of unequal view distribution concomitant with traditional structures, and allows residents across all floors to enjoy the scenic waterfront.
Sitting aside the harbour, the 26-storey building is seamlessly linked with the public promenade on the ground floor and the F&B area of the first floor. The greenery landscape is extended to the tower as a green portal, injecting vibrancy and creating communal indoor-outdoor space for F&B and various retail uses through the Central Court and cascading terraces, integrating the leisure activities with the nature and connecting the residents closely. The Central Court also serves an event space while the shopfronts are maximised to enhance the commercial value of the tower.
